Our Capital Projects Department oversees construction and remodeling projects in our facilities. These projects, payed for by our strong and dynamic community, allow and offer the opportunity for students to learn and grow in an amazing academic and educational environment. In addition, this department also takes student safety into serious consideration while planning these projects, ensuring students learn in safe facilities. Facilities & Operations

Our Facilities & Operations team operated by the district ensures our property and facilities always remain safe for students, staff, and community members. This team is in charge of the following: 

• Daily Maintenance
• Weekly Landscaping Services
• Warehousing

Nutrition

We believe nutrition is the main part of fundamentals to success in academics and life. We provide students with daily breakfast and lunch meals to ensure they are focused and engaged in the classroom. Families are welcome to provide their students with their own lunch or snacks which may be utilized during the student lunch break, which averages a minimum of 30 minutes daily.

Transportation 

The Chavez STEM Academy Transportation Department strives to ensure every student arrives to school and back home safely. Our school buses are used daily in several activities including daily regular routes, field trips, and travel for extracurricular activities including interscholastic sports, programs, and clubs.
